Capt Brian FitzGerald

 

Founder

Captain Brian FitzGerald is the Community Liaison Officer for the South Coast DMAP at DCEE where he has developed vast experience as a Community Liaison Officer in addition to his nationwide experience in the private sector.    He remains a driving force behind Ireland’s Annual NMCI Seafarers’ Conference.  Brian served a full career in the Naval Service including two periods as a ship’s Captain and is a Maritime Lawyer.  

Caoimhin MacUnfraidh

CLO

Caoimhin is a former Commander in the Naval Service with vast experience of Ireland’s coastal
communities. Caoimhin also worked in strategic development within Ireland's maritime industry  and is a fluent Irish and French speaker.

Sinéad Ní Fhátharta

 

CLO

 Sinéad is a former community liaison officer at Smartbay in Galway and currently works on
project work with the MI. She has considerable experience with engagement with coastal communities on
ORE and is also a fluent Irish speaker. Sinead is available as a reserve CLO as required.

Shane Heverin

 

CLO

Shane is a Master Mariner, operating a maritime consultancy company (CARA Offshore) located in
Mayo. Shane has considerable experience of community liaison work and has access to considerable
resources and maritime related community liaison operatives in the Northwest as may be required.
